Ukiah gives you an impression of being a country side town initially with rolling grass lands, ponds and lakes. It is naturally beautifully and rich for the eyes. The city is full of Red wood trees and you also find some houses made of the same wood. If you ever wonder why some houses look so beautiful and sun burnt you will have your answers.While approaching the city from US 101 you will already know there is more to expect. Food is something which makes everyone happy, young, small or old. This thing called which connects our minds to our stomachs is best had in Ukiah. The taste of eclectic Mexican food and the best rear steak marinated in the best wine combination can only be had here. Try it out in some of the steak houses and you would know what we are talking about.<br>It is a small town like city per say but home to many vine yards. You can get a taste of the wine and the wine country in this city. Some of the best home mad e wine and flavored wine that you have ever tasted can be tasted here fresh out of the cedar. It is common belief in the wine taster’s society that one should have knowledge of wine making to be able to taste and tell wine. But if you ask me who cares as long as you are getting good wine…!
