ABOUT THE AREA
The generosity of the Town of Norwich provided the last missing piece to this riddle in the early 19th century. The most notorious community in this town is the Columbus Quarter on the Unadilla River. The land was recognized by the gorgeous wood and its exploitation; entire families got their support for the commerce of the wood production.
