ABOUT THE AREA
The county seat is the Isle of Wight (Wright ain't right!). This community proudly owns one of the most ancient county governmental organizations in the county and its rural life style carries the visitors to the old philosophy of the "States". The shires worked for years on the plantations located along the river, many of these crops are still generating a substantial income for the locals.
