The city of Willis was sued back in the 90s by the US over alleged civil rights violations related to racial accusations.
ABOUT THE AREA
Willis is growing quite rapidly with population booming up almost 5 times as much during the last couple of decades. I would imagine this is due to alot of people that work in Houston look for something more tranquil and try to save some money outside of the hectic city limits.
