ABOUT THE AREA
The county seat is the <i>city</i> of Lancaster (we're not sure it's officially a city). The handsome homes and buildings in this town have remained almost intact since its construction centuries ago when the Carters and the Balls families arrived. The historical environment of this town has been framed by the museums, monuments and the artistic manifestations celebrating the native heritage.
