ABOUT THE AREA
Organized into a county back in the late 1700's from what is now nearby Gloucester County, this area keeps its rural roots and the charming values of the first settlers. Thomas Jefferson saw the purity in this territory and gifted to this community a famous lighthouse back in the early 1800's, Mr. Jefferson wanted to welcome the visitors and "light" their way into this land. It's said to be quite comfortable and sharp.
