ABOUT THE AREA
Amherst County gave birth to Nelson County back in the early 1800's. One of the ten unincorporated cities of Nelson is actually the county seat, Lovingston. The residents of this land have specialized in the best management of booming vineyards and farms; this perfect equilibrium is shared with the visitors and celebrated by the citizens, on multiple festivals organized through the entire year.
