Stratford is a very popular area for all kinds of outdoor sports: boating, hunting, snowmobiling, camping, etc., and as such gets a proportional amount of cases related to this, but not many other types of crime.
ABOUT THE AREA
This is a very nice rural town in the Adirondack Mountains, with lots of wooded hills an the aptly-named Pleasant Lake. The town's population is under one thousand, but the area enjoys a fair amount of tourism.
