ABOUT THE AREA
North of Niagara Falls, the town of Porter is near Lake Ontario. Reportedly, the town was begun during the War of 1812 when a man arrived in the area, cut down some trees and opened a tavern. First things first. The Village of Youngstown is within the Porter town borders.
