Religion and commerce would represent the pillars of this community part of the county seat, the city of Wapakoneta. The Way International thanks constantly this community for his daughter Rosalie Rivenbark, who is actually the president of this Christian entity. The Rotary Club and the Civic Associations have reinforced principles and values in the residents of New Knoxville. Indians resided in this territory till the late 1700's and their respect towards nature kept almost intact this village's resources.
