COMMENTS
Austerlitz Town Court, like many traffic courts in Columbia County, gets a lot of speeding tickets from drivers on the Taconic State Parkway. Nice court. Courthouse/town hall is close to the road with limited parking in front. Best to park on the street nearby. Not too much traffic on that road, so don't worry.
ABOUT THE AREA
The Town of Austerlitz is just east of the village and town of Chatham, and pushes up against the state of Massachusetts. Doesn't seem like a very populated town. Nowhere to eat near the Court, so you go about 5 miles to get into Chatham (but don't speed in Chatham -- the judge there has a reputation).

Columbia County ADA may be available to work out deals in advance with attorneys, and should be in Court to negotiate. They are tougher than other counties, but are decent nonetheless.
