ABOUT THE AREA
Anahuac is near both Anahuac Lake and Trinity Bay where you can see the large cargo ships pulling in to the Port of Houston from the Gulf of Mexico. If boating is your thing this would be a nice place to enjoy a day on the water. If you would rather stay on dry land there are a few parks, like Fort Anahuac Park, for you to enjoy.
