Cedar Hill Park is great for birdwatching or just enjoying the great outdoors, you also have Daniel Park which is more an activity style park with swimming areas, playgrounds, baseball fields and hiking trails. Magnolia Ridge Country Club has one of the nicest 9 holes you can play in Texas, so everything just depends on what you'd like to do while here.
