ABOUT THE AREA
At one time several hollywood actors owned mansions in the New Port Richey area. Many members of the entertainment industry visited and stayed in the area. This gave rise to thoughts of building a major movie studio in the area. But that idea came to nought. The area's Trinity college offers courses in Biblical education and ministry preparation. Pasco Hernando Community college is also located in the area. The Robert Trent Jones, senior designed golf course at the semi-private Fox Hollow Golf club offers beautifully designed 18 holes of golf over 7138 yards.
