Street address is roughly accurate for mapping purposes, but the actual address is 836 Highway 217, in the Mellenville zip code - 12544 - for some reason that does not map well on our site. The courthouse is in a different building than the main town offices. As you come up a hill, it is on the right, maybe 200 yards from the road. It has a deep, narrow parking lot.

PROSECUTORS
The Columbia County DAs office handles cases in Claverack Town Court, and have taken over for the Troopers. ADA might be Shane Zoni, a good guy. Deals on criminal matters arent always great, and they may be somewhat tougher on traffic than some other areas, but they are friendly and will work with you. Town Attorney is Robert Fitzsimmons from Hudson, but he usually is not here.
