ABOUT THE AREA
With the most populated town in the entire County of Meigs, it was the home of the respected family Smith back in the years of the Revolutionary War, keeping a very strong gamut of American traditions mixed with German influences. This community has derived its name because of its location on the Ohio River, which turned it into the merged land of Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.
