ABOUT THE AREA
Take a trip into history, specifically Civil War history, by traveling Southeast on Route 90 to the Olustee Battlefield Historic State park. This is where the largest Florida Civil War battle, in which over 10,000 troops took part. Here each September a re-enactment of the battle is staged and displays of military encampments are set up at the Civil War Expo. Baker County at its finest. Of course, some local still think the South won, but old views never die, do they?
