While you're in Indian Lake, check out their Adirondack Museum and the Indian Lake Museum, they're pretty nice. The town is the self-proclaimed "Moose Capital of New York", so watch out while on the roads, moose are fairly dimwitted critters and don't like to move aside for cars!
