The designation received by the Blue Bell Place as one of the "Neatest residential communities" surprised locals and "strangers" due all the hard circumstances surrounding the life of the average Pennsylvania´s resident, which makes this recognition even more outstanding for the people and the authorities ruling the destiny of this territory. Part of the Whitpain Township and known as "Pigeontown", this land is the home of more than 6300 inhabitants who enjoy the best quality of life provided by effective resource management.<br>Religious groups and morality fanatics were thrilled when the name Blue Balls was dropped in favor of Blue Bell.
