Not an extremely busy court, though it receives it’s fair share of speeding tickets from the nearby route 22. The jury pool here is rumored to be more fair to DWI defendants.

ABOUT THE AREA

Beekmantown is a small town of about 5000 people adjacent to the City of Plattsburgh. Mostly middle-income families live here including many teachers who are employed at the well-funded middle and high school. The eastern edge of the town borders Lake Champlain and includes Point Au Roche State Park.
