Note that there is another Town of Clinton in Dutchess County. This Clinton Town Court deals with traffic tickets surrounding the route 11 road between Malne and Plattsburgh, plus some crossover from Canada.

ABOUT THE AREA

This small town is on the fringes of New York below the border of Canada. Too small for its own high school, the town of Clinton sends its children to nearby Ellenberg for their education. Route 189, which passes through Clinton, leads directly across the border into Canada. There is less than a 1000 people living in this small area.
