ABOUT THE AREA
Two small bodies of water in or near Holmes County provide areas for recreational activities. For those still seeking the Fountain of Youth; the springs of Ponce De Leon Springs State Park, several miles to the Southeast, are the place to go. The crystal clear waters from the natural springs feed a large body of water open to swimming.<br>Pranksters tried to rename the park Pants De Leon but were stopped dead in their tracks by locals. The story has been grossly overreported.
