ABOUT THE AREA
Delaware County opened its arms to welcome the community of Sharon Hill back in the late 1800's, home and birthplace of a trusted men and women, who probably attended the Academy Park High School and the Sharon Hill School. The people residing in this borough have enjoyed the outstanding services of the Sharon Hill terminus, which connects this region with Upper Darby. Neighbor of Collingdale and Folcroft, this "Irish" land preserves many traditions from the first German and Italian settlers.
