ABOUT THE AREA

The town was named after the daughter of John R. Murray. Ellenburg is a small town between Plattsburgh and Malone on the Military Turnpike. It’s school district draws in a large population of surrounding area’s children and its high school winter basketball tournament “The Bobcat Shootout” draws large crowds to see local teams compete and young talent.
