ABOUT THE AREA
The population of this municipality does not show a real racial diversity, only 5% of the people residing in this territory could be consider non-white residents which is far from the common racial mixture present in the surrounding communities. Incorporated back in the middle 1800's, this land shares frontiers with Cross Roads, Shrewsbury, Winterstown, Railroad, and New Freedom. The Stewartstown Railroad is considered a real symbol of the settlers efforts which has been out of service for more than 4 years so far.
