ABOUT THE AREA
Although this area has not experience the extensive growth of other Rochester suburbs, East Rochester has plenty to offer its citizens. Sandwiched between the affluent towns of Perinton, Pittsford and Penfield, this village is home to one of the best Farmer's Markets in the area. Because a large percentage of its residents are of Italian descent, this village is known as the "Little Italy" of Rochester.
