Yonkers is noted for Yonkers Raceway, a harness racetrack and Yonkers produces several models of the subway cars for NY City.
ABOUT THE AREA
Yonkers holds many distinctions; It is the largest city in Westchester county and fourth largest city in NY state. It is often called "Backyard of The Bronx" or "The Sixth Borough" by locals because it is directly on the NYC line, bordering the Bronx.
