This tiny community, elevated 500 feet above sea level, is located in the smallest county in Pennsylvania, and it serves as the county seat reporting a bit less than 4900 inhabitants residing in the favorite son of the Susquehanna River. This borough in Montour County is part of the Bloomsburg Berwick Micropolitan Area and was incorporated back in the 1840's with several German, American, and Irish influences coming from the first settlers.
