Long Lake doesn't get much crime, just a few DWIs and maybe some hunting violations and the like.
ABOUT THE AREA
Long Lake is named for the lake next to the town, which is 1 mile long and 14 wide. The lake is actually part of the Raquette River, flowing directly northeast. It's a beautiful place for boating, hiking, fishing, camping, and anything else.
