This is where the big guns play. Note that Rockland Supreme also has a criminal term. Chief Clerk is John Hussey. The court is now famous for hosting Lawrence Taylor's rape case (resolved with misdemeanors and probation).
ABOUT THE AREA
Rockland County is located just north of the NY/NJ border, west of the Hudson River, and south of Orange County. 5 towns make up Rockland County: Stony Point, Haverstraw, Ramapo, Clarkstown, and Orangetown. There are many villages, communities and hamlets which are located with these five towns. Rockland County was originally part of Orange County until 1798.
