ABOUT THE AREA
Incorporated back in the 1860s, this community witnessed the Revolutionary War in the eyes of several veterans who arrived to this territory waiting for their nation's call to join the front lines. Refreshed by the Shenango River and the Neshannock Creek, it was once the major hub of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad in the early 20th century, and it is the proud neighbor of Oakland, South New Castle, New Castle, Northwest, and Oakwood.
