Grove City is a borough in Mercer County incorporated back in the 1880s and neighbor of Harrisville, Slippery Rock, Barkeyville, and Jackson Center. This community has approximately 2.7 square miles of territory and counts with a very extensive German, English, Irish, and Italian influences from the ancestries residing in this land back on its settlement years. Local authorities have worked the balance of this historical industrial center where "transportation" related companies were the trademark of this land which has supported a small town ambiance in the long run.
