ABOUT THE AREA
In the St. Louis metro area rises proud and charming a territory of approximately 505 square miles of extension and home of more than 36600 residents known as Clinton County. This land established back in the 1820s, nested right in between Bond, Fayette, St. Clair, Madison, Marion, and Washington Counties, was named after the seventh Governor of New York State, DeWitt Clinton. Wesclin Community Unit and Wesclin Community Unit are two of the major school districts delivering education and strength to this land of fifteen townships, ten villages and four cities.
