Founded back in the 1810s from a portion of Edwards County, this land witnessed the arrival of new settlers and the departure of many Native Americans, which today is supported by the columns of patriotism and hard work. Crawford County witnessed recently, the foundation of the Ghost Hunters Society back in 2001 by Jason Snider, which could be a very interesting pro to this community or a very "scary" addition for the potential tourism. Robinson City is the county seat with more than 6800 inhabitants out of the 20500 people residing in this county, less than 3000 households of the 7850 reported all over this territory, and just 3.7 square miles of extension of a grand total of 446 square miles divided in one city, five villages, and ten townships.
