The Native American spirits are still whispering to the visitors of this territory that we should live having a green conscience protecting the blessings that Mother Nature has handed to us. Established back in the 1820s and named in honor of General Nathanael Greene, this community shares frontiers with Scott, Jersey, Pike, Calhoun, and Macoupin Counties.
