ABOUT THE AREA
Nine townships including Catheys and Little River constitute part of the list of settlements in this territory of North Carolina State member of the Land-of-Sky Regional Council of governments. Pure water runs all over this community of 250 waterfalls served by Brevard city as its county seat. Home of Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, and Nantahala National Forest; this community has a very extensive White Non Hispanic population and a very small percentage of Native American, African American, Asian, Hispanic, and other groups.
