ABOUT THE AREA
Named after William A. Graham, it is home of 8075 people and birthplace of the country music star Ronnie Milsap. The territory of the "Tail of the Dragos" where only three lights are enough to monitor the traffic shares limits with Swain, Macon, Blount (TN), Monroe (TN), and Cherokee Counties. Some of the communities in this territory include Topton, Robbinsville, Lake Santeetlah, Fontana Village, Tapoco, and Yellow Creek; all of them refreshed by the Cheoah River visited constantly by adventure lovers after the Class IV and Class V whitewater rapids.
