ABOUT THE AREA
In the Asheville metro area, you will find a delicate territory named for James Madison, fourth President of the United States; and member of the Land-of-Sky Regional Council of governments. Madison County of a bit more than 450 square miles of extension was established in the early 1850s and it is today home of almost 19650 people. The education in this community is provided by the Mars Hill College and the Marshall public system including one high school, one middle school, and more than 3 elementary schools. Some of the eleven townships in this land include Little Pine Creek, Sandy Mush, Revere Rice Cove, and West Fork of Ivy.
