Great services and stable finances are the columns of the local government projections and operations, as part of the regional Piedmont Triad Council of Governments. Rockingham County located in the course of the Dan and Haw Rivers, has more than 91900 people residing on its territories where they have encountered the balance between fun, education, work, and health services under the same sky. This community of almost 575 square miles of extension established back in the 1780s from a portion of land from Guilford County, is home of a large municipal airport and several communities including Eden, Ruffin, Mayodan, Williamsburg, and Simpsonville. The northern boundaries of this land are given by Pittsylvania and Henry Counties in Virginia State, the eastern border is provided by Caswell and Alamance Counties, the southern frontier is represented by the communities of Guilford and Alamance Counties, and finally Stokes and Henry (VA) Counties are the western neighbors of Rockingham County.
