Approximately 430 square miles of territory constitute the home of almost 6400 families residing in Caswell County, where an extensive racial makeup reveals more than 6/10 of White Non Hispanic residents, more than 3/10 of African American inhabitants, and minor groups of Native Americans, Asians, Pacific Islander, Hispanic, and other races influenced by the German and Irish ancestry present in certain traditions and architectural tendencies. Milton and Yanceyville are two incorporated communities in the map of Caswell which shows eight unincorporated cities and nine townships including Stoney Creek, Anderson, Dan River, Leasburg, and Locust Hill.
