ABOUT THE AREA
Nanticoke has grown along two branches of Nanticoke Creek. The first settlement was started in 1793 by Philip Gunselman & John Beachtle of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The Town of Nanticoke, separated from Lisle in 1831, includes the villages of Nanticoke & Glen Aubrey.
