Nested in between the cities of Cross Mountain, Helotes, Scenic Oaks, West Bexar, and Fair Oaks; this community has only 0.7 square miles of extension and approximately 440 residents. As another puzzle piece of the San Antonio metro area, Grey Forest exhibits a racial makeup where almost 99% of the population is White Non Hispanic with representative minorities of Native American, Latino, and other races. The Northside Independent School District serves this community with three educational homes; Helotes Elementary School, Stinson Middle School, and Sandra Day O'Connor High School.
