Bastrop County is the proud father of this territory home of more than 71700 people and located in the southeastern wing of Dallas where many natural treasures may be found by visitors and residents on each corner of this community. Founded in the early 1830s by the hand of Addison Litton, Cedar Creek has more than 895 square miles of extension and a population density close to 65 inhabitants per square mile. Sharing frontiers with Williamson, Lee, Travis, Caldwell, and Fayette Counties, it is connected by four State Highways 21, 71, 95, and 304; along with the US Highway 290.
