Joined the map of Travis County back in the second half of the 20th century nested in between Rollingwood, Lost Creek, Barton Creek, Austin, and Sunset Valley; being a unique and delicate sample of the perfect rural environment and plenty of natural blessings spread all over its almost 4 square miles of extension. This upscale suburb located in the southern side of the Colorado River is home for more than 3000 people with a racial makeup of White Non Hispanic (95%), African American, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, and other racial groups. The Eanes Independent School District serves this community with hard work and perseverance to deliver the best education to the sons and daughters of West Lake Hills.
