COMMENTS
The Thruway generates quite a few speeding ticket cases for Phelps Town Court. One wonders what the highest speed was in this relatively remote area of the state.<br>Note that Town Hall is on Main Street.<br>

ABOUT THE AREA
The Town of Phelps contains the village of Phelps, and sits between Rochester and Syracuse. Interstate 90 passes through the Town of Phelps as well as NY State 96. Phelps is located north of Geneva and Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes district. The first weekend in August every year hosts the Annual Sauerkraut Parade and Festival which celebrates Phelps' past as the Sauerkraut Capitol of the World reflecting their notariety for being a major sauerkraut producer.
