Judge Allen L. Register serves the Circuit Courts of Holmes and Washington counties. Holmes County has a hearing officer as well.

Yippe ky ay they must love their cowboys and horses here. Each year, in December, the Bonifay Kiwanis puts on the Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo which was started in 1946. The rodeo is preceded by a parade. Cowboys from all over the United States take part in the Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo to earn local prize money and points toward the national championship. It's as if the rodeo watching is not enough. The Bonifay Kiwanis Club has been hosting a Club Gospel Sing on the first Saturday in July for over 55 years.
