ABOUT THE AREA
Wichita Falls metro area is the nest of this city of Archer County named after Henry J. Scott, the founder of the town. Windthorst, Archer City, Lakeside City, and Jolly territories represent the border lines of Scotland City with a total extension area of more than 11 square miles elevated 960 feet above sea level.
