Tourists often get snagged in speed traps, resulting in some speeding tickets in local court. We used to have this phone number but apparently it was wrong: 293-7232. Thanks to Mary at the Court for updating us.

ABOUT THE AREA

Saranac and the surrounding areas, though rural, draw on the landscapes natural beauty when attracting tourists and leaf peepers. Saranac has part of the Village of Dannemora in it, so there's some prison issues.
