Clear skies and good people are some of the elements that make this territory of almost 1100 square miles of extension special and unique. Served by Belton as its county seat, Bell has nowadays a population density over 225 inhabitants per square mile and was named after Peter Hansborough Bell, the third governor of Texas. The racial makeup in this land includes White Non Hispanic, African American, Native American, Asian, Latino, Pacific Islander, and other racial groups that have brought their traditions, faiths, beliefs, and goals to this corner of Texas.
