ABOUT THE AREA
Born in 1858, this territory of more than 1280 square miles of extension has only 21 square miles of water very well interconnected with its surroundings by the U.S. Highway 67, U.S. Highway 84, U.S. Highway 283, State Highway 153, and State Highway 206. Close to 90% of the people in this land are White Non Hispanic, the remaining percentage is represented by African American, Latino, Native American, Asian, and other racial groups.
